BKU leader Rakesh Tikait’s video goes viral after Delhi violence

Appeals farmers to come armed with sticks and flags !

Tikait and all farmer leaders protesting ought to be imprisoned for their involvement in the violence in Delhi! Since this has not happened it reflects the inaction of the Delhi Police !

New Delhi – “The Government is not listening. It has become very cruel. Come along with tricolour flags and bring your lathis as well. Understand my words and be prepared to save our land.” These are the words of Rakesh Tikait, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union. This undated video was posted by BJP spokesman Sambit Patra.

  1. After the video came to light, Tikait justified his stand while claiming, ‘I did appeal to the protestors to bring sticks and flags to Delhi. But there was no intention to engage in violence. Farmers from villages were driving tractors, they did not know the paths of Delhi’. Further he said, “Those who created violence should leave the protest. Those who unfurled flags at Red Fort will have to pay for their deeds.”
  2. Further, Tikait said that he has no relationship with Punjabi singer Deep Sidhu. There is a picture of Deep Sidhu with the Prime Minister.
