Srinagar – Mehbooba Mufti spent Rs. 82 lakh on the refurbishment of her official residence in just 6 months when she was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. This includes money spent on furniture and buying utensils. A Right To Information (RTI) application filed by Jammu and Kashmir based activist, Inam-un-Nabi Soudagar revealed that the expenditure was borne by the Government of India.
