Essay Competition in school on Babri Masjid
The Supreme Court has accepted that the Babri Masjid was built after demolishing the Ram Mandir. Despite this, why do the Police and the administration not ban the practice of putting up billboards that say ‘Don’t forget Babri’, misleading students through essay competitions, etc. ?
Panaji (Goa) – “The Popular Front of India (PFI) organised an All Goa Essay Competition based on the Babri Masjid for students of Class X to XII in Goa. Through this, PFI has created hatred in society and action should be taken against them”, demanded Hindu Janajagruti Samiti from the Director General of Police of Goa. A copy of this demand was sent to Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.
Since the Supreme Court has already pronounced its verdict on Babri Masjid, the essay competition is detrimental to the unity of society and creates hatred amongst the future generation of students in the country.
The PFI is being watched by the Central Government as it is a terrorist, anti-national and Islamic State-linked organisation.
