Five incidents related to cow slaughter and ‘Love Jihad’ reported from two States !

Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh) – The Police arrested a man in Noorpur under the Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act. Further investigation is underway.

Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh) – Beef was being cooked in Panara Gopalpur village under the jurisdiction of the Sarai Akil Police Station in Kaushambi district. Acting on information, the Police conducted a raid. On seeing the Police, four men fled from the house. Further investigation is underway.

Hyderabad (Telangana) – Mohammad Afroz (28) befriended a 17-year-old Hindu girl through social media and lured her into a love relationship. He allegedly sexually assaulted her. After a complaint was lodged against Afroz, the Police registered a case under POCSO (Protection of children from sexual offences) Act and began an investigation.

Ambedkar Nagar (Uttar Pradesh) – A 16-year-old Hindu girl was allegedly lured away from her home by Jubair alias Atal from the Tanda area on 24 June. It is suspected that Jubair took her to his sister’s house in Sultanpur. The Police are investigating the case.

Etawah (Uttar Pradesh) – A Hindu young woman has accused a Muslim man of concealing his religious identity, establishing a relationship with her and sexually exploiting her on the false promise of marriage. The accused allegedly posed as “Raja”, claiming to belong to the Rajput community. When the woman attempted to end the relationship, he allegedly threatened to circulate her private photographs and videos. When she went to his house to retrieve them, he and his family allegedly assaulted her and snatched her mobile phone and laptop. The Police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
