Dhanbad (Jharkhand) – The police have arrested a man for getting his father, an employee of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), killed in an attempt to secure a job on compassionate grounds following his father’s death. He had hired two contract killers to carry out the murder. They have also been arrested.
Dhanbad Rural Superintendent of Police S. Mohammad Yakub said that the deceased Tuleshwar Nonia’s son, Vijay Chauhan, along with two contract killers, Amit Singh and Akhilesh Mallah, had been arrested in connection with the murder.
Nonia worked at the Barora coal mine operated by BCCL and had only two years of service remaining. His son, Vijay Chauhan, wanted to obtain a permanent job at the coal mine on compassionate grounds after his father’s death. With this motive, he conspired to have his father murdered.
Vijay Chauhan had offered the two contract killers ₹10 lakh to carry out the murder; however, no advance payment had been made before the killing.
