Lucknow (UP) – ‘Love Jihad’ is a political stunt. I urge Muslim youths to consider Hindu girls as their sisters if they wish to defend themselves from the torture, said S.T. Hasan, leader of Samajwadi Party.
- Hasan said that such an ACT has been legislated using which you could be tortured. To defend yourself, do not fall prey to any inducement or attraction.
- UP Government will issue an ordinance according to which conversion by deceiving would lead to 10 years of imprisonment and penalty of Rs. 25,000.
- One has to inform the District Collectors before 2 months if he/she wishes to undergo religious conversion.
