Washington (USA) – In the close election contest, the current President Donald Trump has lost, and the Democratic candidate Jo Biden won the election. He will be the next President of the United States. The vote counting began on 4th November; the whole world was watching and waited for the results. Jo Biden will be the 46th President of the US. His victory came with the final 20 electoral votes from Pennsylvania.

On his victory, Jo Biden said, ”This is the time for unity. The old wounds will heal. Now we are ‘United States of America’ in the true sense. Those voted for Donald Trump are in despair, I can understand. Let us all work to build the nation. Let us put an end to accusations and counter-accusations. Let us look at each other with a new perspective. I wish to assure you all, as the President of America, that I will work towards unity for all”.

Kamala Harris said, “This election was not limited up to Jo Biden, the person. It was an election to safeguard the fundamental principles of the US. It was to demonstrate the will to fight for it. The road ahead is full of challenges but we will meet them”.
