Nashik (Maharashtra) – The Army has arrested a suspect Sanjeev Kumar (21) who was sending photographs of the restricted area in the main training centre at Deolali Camp of the Artillery Department to Pakistan. An inquiry concluded that he had sent the photos to some WhatsApp groups in Pakistan. A case has been registered against Sanjeev Kumar following a complaint by the Artillery Training Centre. He was interrogated by senior Police officials, including an anti-terrorism squad.
Construction of water tank in Deolali camp is in progress. The suspect Sanjeev Kumar was working for the contractor. On 2nd October, around 8.30 pm, the security guards noticed that he was taking pictures in front of the entrance of the training centre. They took him into custody and handed him over to the Army Intelligence Service.
