Staunch Hindutvavadi leader Mr. Tapan Ghosh is no more

Mr. Tapan Ghosh

Kolkata – Shri. Tapan Ghosh (Founder-President of ‘Hindu Samhati’, a staunch devout Hindu organisation in Bengal, founder of ‘Simha Vahini’ and an international scholar on Hindutva), died of coronary heart disease. He had established ‘Hindu Samhati’ in 2007.

He always raised his voice against atrocities being perpetrated on Hindus in Bengal. He was closely associated with the mission of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. He was cremated on 13th July in the presence of family members due to the lockdown.

Mr. Tapan Ghosh was a RSS volunteer from the age of 10. He worked as a Pracharak from 1976. He staged a satyagraha in 1975 during the Emergency. As a result, he was jailed in Kolkata for several months. He was then working underground during Emergency. From 1983 to 1985, he was the General Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in Bengal. In 2001, he was given the responsibility of coordinating the North-East Division of the Bajrang Dal.

Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti share the grief of the Ghosh family.
