Mumbai – Mumbai Police has arrested a religious fanatic, Imtiyaz, for threatening Agrima Joshua of rape. He opened a fake social media account ‘Umeshdada’, a Hindu sounding name, and used it to threaten the comedian. Imtiaz posted a video on social media using the account ‘Umeshdada’. He had given an obscene statement on Agrima. The comedian has insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by giving satirical statements in a stand-up comedy act.
Followers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj are demanding prosecuting Agrima by taking criminal action against her. There is a huge criticism on social media against Agrima. Imtiaz took advantage of this situation and posted the objectionable video. Mumbai Police in a tweet has announced that, ‘preliminary investigation has been started against Imtiyaz’. Police administration in the same tweet has said that any person involved in threatening women will be put behind bars.
