Police deploy additional force
This implies very clearly that the activists who had organised the previous illegal protests are still on the loose and they will become active again to revive the protests. Police should identify these organisers and take them into custody !
New Delhi – Before the lockdown the religious fanatics had launched an illegal protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Shaheen Bagh area in Delhi. After the nationwide lockdown started, the Police had dispersed the protesters. However the attempts are being made again to revive the anti-CAA Shaheen Bagh protests. After the information received from the Intelligence Department, additional force has been deployed here by the Police.
After the relaxation in lockdown, some female religious fanatics had gathered here but the Police sent them back. Later, an additional Police force was deployed.
Additional Police force has also been deployed outside Jamia Millia Islamia University. The information has been received that the protests may also take place in this area.
