Kolkata – Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has appealed for a peaceful Ramnavmi celebration. At the same time, she also criticised the Union government. In this context, opposition Party BJP senior leader, Suvendu Adhikari has announced construction of grand Shriram temple in Bengal like in Ayodhya. Adhikari said, “In Nandigram, Shriram temple foundation will be laid on Ramnavmi day. This temple will cover approximately 1.5 acres of land. It will be the largest Shriram temple in Bengal.

1.A few days ago, Mamata Banerjee had criticised Union government saying, “The Dharma followed by the Union government is not the Dharma of Vivekananda. Is the government inciting riots ? Ramnavmi is coming, and Eid is over. I wish that Ramnavmi is celebrated peacefully. I appeal to all religions to maintain peace.”

2.Responding to the above statement by Mamata Banerjee, Adhikari said, “The Peace Army (Muslims) of Mamata Banerjee had attacked various processions of Shriram Navmi in 2023. Mamata Banerjee should control them first. Hindus never cause riots. Hindus have decided to come out on the streets on Ramnavmi and chant ‘Jai Shriram’. That day, every Hindu will hold a flag.”
