Kolkata (Bengal) – The Howrah Police has rejected the application of Anjani Putra Sena to take out a procession for Shriram Navami this year. The Police say that religious violence took place on the same route during the procession in the years 2022 and 2023, due to which it is considered a sensitive area. (Do the Police belong to Pakistan to deny such permission ? The violence occurred due to the arrogance of religious fanatics, the laxity of the Muslims of the Mamata Government and the inaction of the Police. What is the fault of Hindus in it ? In Bengal, police stations have also been burnt by religious fanatics many times; so is that why they were closed ? – Editor) Permission was not given in the year 2023 for the same reason.

The administration does not have any problem with offering namaz on the road; but it does in Shrieam Navami – Anjani Putra Sena
Opposing this decision, Surendra Verma, founder-secretary of Anjani Putra Sena, said that the administration tries to stop the procession of Shriram Navami every year by giving the same reason. He said, ‘On Eid, people offer namaz on the streets, it is fine; but when Shriram Navami comes, the administration faces problems. We have decided to challenge the Police decision in the High Court.
