US strikes on Houthi terrorist sites in Yemen

Sana’a (Yemen) – The United States has launched airstrikes on regions in Yemen controlled by Houthi terrorists. The Houthis have claimed that they shot down a US advanced MQ-9 Reaper drone near the port city of Hodeidah in the Red Sea. The US continues to conduct air raids on Houthi bases. This situation has arisen due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, as a result of which Houthi terrorists are being targeted. The Houthis have claimed that at least 65 people have been killed in recent attacks.

US attempts to pressure Iran

The Trump administration is attempting to increase pressure on Iran over its expanded nuclear programme. As part of this strategy, the United States has launched continuous airstrikes on the Iran-backed Houthi terrorists. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that over 200 airstrikes have been carried out so far on Houthi terrorists. These operations will not stop until maritime freedom in the Red Sea region is restored.
