Muslim leaders protest Idol worship in the ‘PUBG’ video game in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia

•  How many Hindus show awareness if anything happens against their religion’s principles ?
• Cognizant Muslims do not tolerate anything conflicting to religion, even in video games. Whereas those Hindus, who have no dignity for their religion, clap and cheer parody or denigration of Deities in sports, plays and films.

Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – Idol worship introduced in the latest version of a video game ‘PUBG’ has triggered uproar in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and led to religious tension. Islam forbids idol worship and Muslim preachers protested the video game.

1.’PUBG’ video game introduced ‘Mysterious Jungle Mode’ in the new version showing a few players performing idol worship. Muslim priests in Kuwait, issued doctrines regarding the game. They urged the Government to safeguard children from propaganda opposing Islam.

2. A powerful idol, ‘Totems’ is part of this game. Player gain strength by worshipping it. He gets ‘Energy Drink’, ‘Health Kit’ and other awards. Muslim players resisted the new version. Many players burnt ‘Totems’ in the game to vent anger.

3. Prof. Basam Al Shatti said, “Video game ‘PUBG’ violated the Islam axioms. This is the biggest misdeed. In Islam, you bow head only in the prayer of all mighty Allah.

4. Prof. Rashid Al Alimi of ‘Basic Education College’ said, “This is a very alarming game for Muslims. Similar games will create generations of Muslims, who do not know about isms derogatory to Islam. Islam believes in one God theory. Only Allah is the creator and protector of the universe.
