India is ready to face any coronavirus situation – Says Health Minister 

The doubling rate decreased to 10 days from 12 days

New Delhi –  ‘India does not anticipate the worst-case scenario that has developed in many developed countries due to the coronavirus pandemic’, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on 9th May.

“However, we have still prepared the whole country to face the worst”, said Mr. Vardhan in Delhi while interacting with Health Ministers and senior officials of North-east States on the current COVID-19 situation via video conferencing. There are 59,662 coronavirus infected patients as of now. The rate of doubling coronavirus patients has decreased to 10 days from 12 days.
