HJS seeks ban on the book containing filthy write up about Swatantryaveer Savarkar

Mr. Sunil Ghanvat

Demands action on the book’s author and publisher

Mumbai – A book ‘Veer Savarkar, how ‘brave’ ?’ containing absolutely low level and false write up related to Veer Savarkar was distributed at a training camp organised by Seva Dal of Congress in Bhopal (MP). This illustrates how low Congress can stoop to defame freedom fighters ! The Union Government should take immediate steps and legislate an Act so that no one will dare to insult not only Veer Savarkar but also any national hero and freedom fighter. The book by Congress also appears to have the hidden agenda of creating communal and caste tensions to disturb peace in the country, said Mr. Sunil Ghanvat (Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti [HJS] for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh) in a press note.

He has demanded immediate ban on the objectionable book that clearly indicates Congress’ hatred for Veer Savarkar as well as the entire revolutionary movement. He added further that strict action should be taken against the book’s author and publisher.

Mr. Ghanvat added, “One wonders what these camps and workshops of Congress must be teaching by distributing a book containing derogatory texts that say that freedom fighters were homosexuals, they threw stones at mosques, they raped women of minority groups, etc. All this proves that camps and workshops of Congress teach nothing but ways to disturb social harmony. Veer Savarkar should be honoured with Bharat Ratna immediately”.
