New ‘Love Jihad’ case comes to light in Uttar Pradesh
Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – A new case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light in the district. A Muslim youth named Sahil lured a minor Hindu girl into a relationship and subsequently raped her. The accused threatened the victim and pressured her to convert to Islam. The victim’s father lodged a complaint with the Police. Based on the complaint, the Police registered a case against Sahil and his brother, Munna.
Sahil, along with his brother Munna, allegedly enticed the 16-year-old Hindu girl and took her away from her home. He then raped her and pressured her to convert to Islam.
Police teams have been deployed to trace the accused, and the Police said that they would be arrested soon.
