
Ulwe (Raigad District) – The CIDCO administration took action against an illegal mosque constructed on Government land in Sector 19 in Ulwe and demolished it. In a late-night operation on 27 May, the administration carried out decisive action and razed the entire structure to the ground.

After the Bombay High Court dismissed the petition filed by the encroachers, they were reportedly attempting to explore legal alternatives. Before those efforts could progress, the CIDCO administration carried out the demolition.
Following the bulldozer action, people present at the site raised slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” and celebrated in the area. Participants expressed the view that “this is a victory of truth”.
