Purchased two goats using fake currency worth ₹50,000

Surat (Gujarat) – Surat Police have arrested a gang involved in the use of counterfeit currency. The matter came to light while purchasing goats. After buying goats from a trader from Rajasthan, three members of the gang cheated him by paying with fake currency notes. Following a complaint lodged by the victim trader, Police arrested Mohammad Ulfat Sheikh, Nazir Ansari, and Rais Siddiqui. (Although Muslims are a minority otherwise, this once again shows that they are a majority when it comes to criminal activities! – Editor) The accused had purchased two goats from the trader for ₹50,000. Police recovered 322 counterfeit ₹500 notes from the accused, amounting to a total face value of ₹1,61,000.
