Passenger Jihad !

Nationalist Congress Party MLA Sangram Jagtap is viewed favourably by Hindutva supporters because he raises his voice against injustices on Hindus. He is often criticised with claims that he may soon join Bharatiya Janata Party; however, Jagtap has not stopped speaking out against various forms of what he calls ‘Jihad’. On 11th May as well, under his leadership and on behalf of the ‘Sakal Hindu Samaj’, a large motorcycle rally was organised on the Pune-Ahilyanagar highway against Passenger Jihad (Travels Jihad), during which the highway was blocked. Even on the rally banner, instead of identifying himself as an MLA of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), he preferred the designation Hindutva MLA. He voluntarily raises his voice in support of Hindus. The important thing is that this creates awareness among Hindus. Intensifying the struggle against this and remaining vigilant is now the responsibility of every Hindu traveller.

To achieve the goal of Khorasan (making the whole of India Islamic), another form of Jihad has now been added to the various alleged Jihads that are, hollowing out India from within. Similar incidents had previously taken place in Rajasthan, where Hindu women were allegedly molested by fanatics in private buses, and now, it is claimed, such incidents have begun in Maharashtra as well.

Just as BJP MLAs have spoken of Love Jihad, Land Jihad, and IT Jihad, in recent days Sangram Jagtap has also raised issues such as School Jihad, Fruit Jihad, Coaching classes Jihad, and Delivery (of pregnant women) Jihad. Passenger Jihad ranges from trapping Hindu girls for future exploitation to abusing Hindu girls on buses. It allegedly operates through ticket-booking shops run by religious fanatics. When Hindu girls pay for tickets, they are encouraged to make online payments so that their contact numbers can be obtained. Later, chatting allegedly begins over mobile phones. They are also allegedly called an hour before the bus departure time.

Recently, a case came to light in which a conductor of the State Transport Corporation’s Shivai bus service allegedly behaved obscenely with a Hindu woman who travelled daily, and emotionally blackmailed her. It is said that after the woman filed a complaint, the depot authorities attempted to suppress the matter, which is deeply unfortunate.

In the Maharashtra of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who worshipped the Goddess Shivai at Shivneri Fort and fought religious aggressors, the fact that such acts of religious fanatics could allegedly continue fearlessly in buses named after the Goddess is worrying. The concerned employee is said to have been suspended, but alert Hindus have also noticed that the administration is trying hard to prevent the matter from going public. Jagtap reportedly stated that a man named Patel from Mukundnagar in Ahilyanagar had been arrested by the Police after a video circulated showing him engaging in obscene acts with a Hindu girl inside a ‘Travels’ bus. He also claimed that such incidents had occurred in Pune and Mumbai.

Mr Sangram Jagtap

The boldness of fanatics in allegedly targeting Hindu women openly in public places is alarming. For years, people have watched heartbreaking videos from Pakistan showing girls and newly married women being abducted from public places. Is this not the first step toward such a situation ?

Jitendra Awhad’s love for Jihadis

Jitendra Awhad, an MLA from the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP, allegedly made a mockery of himself with a ridiculous criticism of Sangram Jagtap, who speaks out against attacks on Hindus. Awhad reportedly said, ‘The petrol used in your expensive cars comes from Muslim countries; will you stop using that too ?’

Regardless of trade relations or dependence on Islamic countries, Hindu daughters and daughters-in-law should not be left to the mercy of Muslims allegedly carrying out Jihad. Linking such issues with fuel reflects intellectual bankruptcy.

On social media, people reportedly criticised Awhad, saying that even after being defeated by Muslim voters in his constituency, he still seeks to appease them. Since Awhad has repeatedly defended the alleged terrorist Ishrat Jahan, it would not be surprising if he were someday to support Jihadi figures such as Nida Khan, similar to leaders of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM).

Sangram Jagtap warns Hindus

During the rally, Sangram Jagtap reportedly cited examples of sacrifices made for the country by figures such as Bhagat Singh and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj while addressing Hindus enduring the harsh heat. He also raised the very important issue that money is allegedly being supplied for this Jihad. He mentioned that those who trap girls are allegedly rewarded.

He appealed to Hindus traveling by private buses to verify who the bus driver is and whether he applies a tilak to his forehead before travelling. He also said that if family members accompany daughters and daughters-in-law to bus depots, they should verify the identity of drivers in State Transport or private buses and may even inspect their identity cards. Jagtap further stated, ‘Something must be done today to keep the future generations safe. Even if all of you leave, I alone will continue this struggle’.

Why is there no fear of Hindus ?

The article asks how a Muslim man could dare to behave obscenely with a Hindu girl inside a bus when the majority of passengers are Hindus. This means the fanatics either have no fear of other Hindu passengers or know that Hindus cannot unite. The answer now lies in the hands of Hindus.

Can anyone even imagine such an incident happening with a Muslim girl ? If such incidents occur in the future, Hindus must decide how to deal with those fanatics. Hindus are now disproving the curse that they cannot unite; however, has the administration become indifferent ? Merely ten thousand British ruled millions of Indians and the fanatics now seek to do the same. Hence, to change this situation, there is no alternative to Hindu unity.
