Schemes related to Madarasas to be stopped

Kolkata – The Cabinet of the Government led by Suvendu Adhikari in West Bengal has decided to discontinue certain schemes that had been continuing since previous Governments. The Government will now stop religion-based assistance schemes being run through the Madarasa Department and the Information and Cultural Affairs Department. Several such schemes are set to be discontinued from next month onwards.
