Mumbai – Mumbai, the city in which the founder of Sanatan Sanstha, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale, initiated the work of Dharma, reverberated with the chanting of Vedic mantras on Jyeshtha Shukla Pratipada. By the grace of Shri Siddhivinayak, the revered Deity of Mumbai, a golden chapter was added to the history of Sanatan Sanstha. The Divine Shri Rajamatangi Mahayajna was performed in an extremely devotional and auspicious environment at the Nardulla Tank Ground in Prabhadevi. Organised by Sanatan Sanstha, the intention behind this yajna was that tapobhumi (land of austerity) Bharat should receive a protective shield in the present wartime situation and attain all-round prosperity. The sky of Mumbai was lit up with the chanting of Vedic mantras and the venerable presence of Sadgurus and Saints. The environment was brightened by the Divine presence of Shri Satshakti (Mrs) Binda Nilesh Singbal and Shri Chitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Mukul Gadgil, the spiritual successors of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale. The dignitaries, seekers and devotees present at the Yajna ceremony were showered with the blessings of Goddess Shri Rajamatangi. The Mahayajna was also blessed by the revered presence of Jeevanadi reader Pujya Dr Om Ulaganathan.

The sacred moment of Mahapurnahuti came when the devotees present were united with a spiritually charged environment filled with Divine consciousness due to the priesthood performed with spiritual emotion, by Shivagam Vidyanidhi Agamacharya Mr Arunkumar Gurumurthy, and chief priest of yajna Mr Gurumurthy Shivacharya (from Erode, Tamil Nadu), and due to the Divine presence of Shri Satshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal and Shri Chitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil. Goddess Shri Rajamatangi invoked for the protection of the nation

Goddess Shri Rajamatangi

Among the ‘Dashamahavidyas’ that manifested from the wrath of Adishakti Goddess Sati, Goddess Matangi occupies a unique and exalted position. Goddess Matangi is regarded as the ‘Prime Minister’ or chief advisor of Adishakti. Worship of this Goddess is considered fruitful for attaining victory over enemies and overcoming adverse circumstances. Even during the Treta Yug, at the time of the incarnation of Deity Shriram, the principle of Goddess Rajamatangi was active, enabling the establishment of the ideal Ramrajya. The main purpose behind this Mahayajna was to protect India with the blessings of the same divine power even in the present era.

Darshan of the divine fragments of the Sorati Somnath Jyotirlinga

A thousand years ago, Muslim invader Mohammed Ghazni had desecrated the Somnath Jyotirlinga. For the past 1,000 years, some devotees have carefully preserved fragments of this Jyotirlinga. The Hindu devotees attending the Mahayajna were blessed with the Darshan of these divine fragments. At 3.15 p.m., under the guidance of chief Acharya Mr Arunkumar Gurumoorthy and in the presence of other priests, these divine fragments ceremonially arrived at the Yajna venue amidst the sounds of traditional instruments. Devotees had heartfelt Darshan of these sacred fragments. As worship of Shakti was being performed through the Shri Rajamatangi Mahayajna, the devotees experienced a feeling akin to the ‘Shivshakti Sangam’ as Deity Shiva was also present there in the form of the Sorati Somnath Jyotirlinga.

Shri Satshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal and Shri Chitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil ceremonially welcomed these divine fragments.
