Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, who guides seekers to perform satseva related to Astrology, and facilitates their spiritual practice

I have been performing satseva related to Astrology since the Year 2022. Through this satseva, I am experiencing the grace of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale (Gurudev).

1. The Guru’s grace experienced while analysing the horoscope of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale

1A. Perceiving the divinity in Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : I had a strong desire to analyse the horoscope of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev and reveal the Divine aspects in Him. From the planetary combinations in a horoscope, one can understand the inherent qualities and personality defects in an individual from birth itself.

When I studied the horoscope of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev, I realised many qualities in Him; however,  I did not find even a single personality defect. At that time, I remembered a principle from the Text written by Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev titled ‘Importance of personality defect removal and inculcating virtues’.

This principle is – ‘In Satyayug, humans existed in the ‘Soham bhav’, meaning, each individual experienced that ‘I am God.’ In that Era, qualities such as promptness, receptivity to virtues, humility, and obedience were innate in humans. I found all these qualities in the horoscope of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev. At that moment, I felt great joy. I felt that Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev is Divine.

1B. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale liking the analysis of His horoscope : After completing the analysis of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev’s horoscope, I sent it to Him to read. Gurudev liked the analysis of His horoscope very much. It was published on 14^th May 2023 in a Special Issue on the occasion of His Birth Anniversary.

This was my very first analysis after receiving the degree of Jyotish Visharad (Equivalent to Graduation in Astrology).

2. Getting the opportunity to analyse the horoscopes of Spiritual Heirs of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale and some Sadgurus

By the grace of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev, the astrological research I was conducting gained momentum. Thereafter, I analysed the horoscopes of His Spiritual Heirs – Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Nilesh Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Mukul Gadgil, as well as Sadguru (Dr) Mukul Gadgil, Sadguru Rajendra Shinde, Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale, and Sadguru Anuradha Wadekar.

While doing this, I received assistance from Jyotish Visharad Shri. Raj Karve. The analysis we conducted of all these Saints was liked by Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev. He encouraged me and taught me how to obtain Anand (Bliss) from satseva.

3. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale asking me to analyse the horoscopes of seekers so that they may benefit in spiritual practice

Once when I met Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev, He asked me, “After examining a horoscope, what all aspects can you tell about the concerned individual ?” I replied – “From the horoscope, I can tell about the individual’s qualities, personality defects, the favourable or unfavourable circumstances available for spiritual progress, whether the individual has any spiritual distress, and the intensity of their prarabdha (Destiny), etc.”

Upon this, Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev said, “Analyse the horoscopes of some seekers and send them to me”. Sadguru (Dr) Mukul Gadgil was present there. Addressing Him, Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev said, “You examine through subtle perception the astrological analysis done at the intellectual level by Shri. Kanaglekar and suggest chanting and other remedies to the seekers”.

4. Encouragement to study Astrology due to the earnest desire of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale that through its study, the concerned seeker’s spiritual practice should take place and other seekers should also benefit from Astrology

Thereafter, we studied the horoscopes of 26 seekers. Many seekers were advised astrological remedies such as chanting the names of planets and performing Shanti rituals to overcome difficulties in their prarabdha. As a result, many seekers benefited.

During this period of satseva, Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev sent me Prasad (as a token of appreciation). Due to Gurudev’s earnest desire that our spiritual practice should take place through the study of Astrology and other seekers should also benefit from it, we were encouraged to study Astrology.

5. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale teaching us to think from the perspective that Astrology should be used for the spiritual upliftment of seekers and experiencing that Gurudev does everything

In practical life, people mostly use Astrology to find solutions to worldly problems. Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev taught us to think how Astrology can be used for the spiritual upliftment of seekers.

From time to time, He would suggest innovative topics for research. He asked us to write a series of Articles on Astrology. While doing all this, we would often wonder how will we be able to do this. However, after seeing the actual results, we experienced that Gurudev Himself gets everything done.

Gurudev does everything, yet gives us the credit and He Himself remains detached from it.
