Minor Hindu girl abducted by Muslim youths in Raichur (Karnataka)

Raichur (Karnataka) – A Muslim youth named Aslam allegedly abducted a 14-year-old minor Hindu girl here. A Hindu man named Eshappa (30 years old), who came forward to stop the abduction, was brutally murdered by the accused and his associates.

1. On the night of the incident, Eshappa was sleeping on the terrace of his house. At that time, he noticed Muslim youth Aslam and his friends allegedly taking away a 14-year-old minor girl.

2. The victim girl was the daughter of the brother of Eshappa’s friend Anjaneya. Therefore, Eshappa immediately came down from the terrace, stopped the youths and asked them, “Where are you taking the girl ?”

3. Enraged by this, Aslam and his gang allegedly strangled Eshappa with a wire and murdered him. After committing the crime, the accused fled from the spot.

4. The family members of the victims have demanded the immediate arrest of the accused. Eshappa’s dead body was allegedly found placed in front of the house of the abducted girl.

5. A case has been registered at Yapaladinni Police Station in connection with the incident. Police are carrying out further investigation in the matter.

Editorial Perspective

Since Karnataka is under what critics describe as a ‘Pakistani-style rule’ of the Congress, incidents of Hindu girls being abducted and Hindus being murdered are no longer surprising. When will the Hindus of Karnataka who brought the Congress to power realise this ?
