According to National Crime Records Bureau, in 2021, there were 2,834 cases of child trafficking. This means 8 children per day were kidnapped for labour, begging and sexual exploitation.
Child-trafficking is a very serious issue and needs an immediate and permanent solution. It will require stringent laws, but creating social awareness is equally important.
