The case of Mamata Banerjee’s defeat in the Bengal elections

Mumbai – On the backdrop of defeat of Chief minister Mamta Banerjee in Bengal election, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, producer of ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Bengal Files’, said, “The Kashmir Files was banned from being screened in theatres in Bengal. Then we were attacked and had to endure scuffles. Cases were registered against me. Mamta Banrjee had banned my entry in Bengal. I did not get permission for it and I could not go to the state to accept the award given by the Governor; But now, after the election results, the people of Bengal will live without fear.
