Mamata Banerjee on the way out in Bengal, BJP likely to come to power !

New Delhi – Elections in the States of Bengal, Assam, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Kerala have recently concluded, and the results of exit polls have now emerged. According to these projections, the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress in Bengal appears to be coming to an end, with indications that the Bharatiya Janata Party may assume power.

In Assam, the BJP is likely to return to power once again, with Himanta Biswa Sarma expected to secure a second term. In Puducherry, the BJP-led alliance is also projected to retain power. In Tamil Nadu, exit polls suggest that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is set to continue in power.

However, in Kerala, the United Democratic Front, led by the Indian National Congress, is expected to form the government.
