Names of 20 'regressive maharajs' of the Warkari sect announced

Mumbai – Stating that ‘Warkari sect is different from Sanatan Dharma’, Vikas Lawande, spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party Sharad Chandra Pawar faction, has tried to call the Warkaris who work for Sanatan Dharma as fanatics. Vikas Lawande has announced the names of 20 such people. This list includes the treasurer of Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust, H.H. Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, Bandatatya Karadkar, who is considered to be the Bhishmacharya of the Warkari sect, national kirtankar Charudatta Aphale, senior kirtankar H.B.P. Prakash Maharaj Jawanjal and other religious figures.

Nationalist Congress Party National President Sharad Chandra Pawar recently stated that ‘Fundamentalist Hindus constitute60%of Warkari sect. Due to this, religious fanaticism is increasing in the Warkari sect.’

‘Saint Namdev Maharaj first took the saffron flag in his hand and Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj gave the first scripture. The foundation and scriptures of Sanatan Dharma are different. Warkari thought does not accept any kind of discrimination. Currently, people like Pradeep Sharma, Kalicharan Maharaj, Dhirendra Shastri and Swami Anand Swaroop are coming from North India to finish the Warkari sect,’ Vikas Lawande made this baseless criticism.

Kirtankars are seen openly campaigning for BJP : Lawande

At this time, Vikas Lawande alleged that ‘BJP’s spiritual wing leader Tushar Bhosale held a meeting in Alandi before the elections and asked the kirtankars/maharajs to campaign foron the basis of Hindutva. For this, packets of money were also distributed. That is why the kirtankars are seen openly campaigning for BJP’.
