Violence incited under the guise of a labour union exposed

Noida (Uttar Pradesh) – It has come to light that Pakistan and communist organisations were behind the violence that occurred during the workers’ protest here. Police stated that workers were incited through social media platforms operated from Pakistan. Acting on charges of instigating violence, the police arrested Manisha Chauhan and Rupesh Roy, associated with the communist organisation ‘Majdoor Bigul Dasta’.
According to police sources, provocative content related to the protest in Noida was circulated through the accounts @Proudindiannavi and @Mir_Ilyas_INC on X. These accounts were being operated from Pakistan. A case has already been registered against both accounts.
The investigation further revealed that the operators of these accounts were attempting to conceal their identities; however, the cyber department traced their location. It has also emerged that these accounts had previously been used to circulate provocative material and incite violence.
