Awareness about ‘Love Jihad’ and Taking Oath

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – ‘Kranti Sena, Gadag’ and ‘Rajrajeshwari Mahila Mandal’ jointly organised a free screening of the film ‘The Kerala Story 2’ in the city. About 650 young women watched this film. After the show, the women were urged to be watchful towards the problem of ‘Love Jihad’. They were also given an oath to help the girls who have fallen prey to this problem. Mr Babu Bakale, the district president of ‘Kranti Sena, Gadag’ and Mrs Rani R Chandavari, the president of its Ladies’ Division, were present on the occasion.

Good values are essential – Viewers’ response
The parents who watched the film stated that good moral values need to be inculcated in children from a very young age. Such problems can be stopped if our children are taught the importance of Hindu culture, traditions and Dharma.
Young women resolve to be alert
After watching the film, the young women expressed their opinions. They felt that Hindu girls were being trapped in the name of friendship, but considering the present situation, they must remain alert. The screening of the film has helped to create awareness amongst people towards this problem.
