Both countries have an agreement to help each other in times of war

New Delhi – A few months ago, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had signed an agreement to help each other in times of war. Pakistani leaders had stated that ‘Pakistan’s nuclear bombs would be ready to protect Saudi Arabia’. They also hoped that Saudi Arabia too, would assist Pakistan. Now, in the wake of Iran’s continuous attacks, Saudi Arabia has demanded help from Pakistan such as troops and military equipment as per the agreement. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Iran warns Pakistan to stay away from war
In September last year, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a ‘Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement’. According to this agreement, an attack on Saudi Arabia will be considered an attack on Pakistan. Now, Saudi Arabia has demanded military assistance from Pakistan. But Pakistan is reluctant to get involved in this war. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has clearly warned Pakistan to stay away from the war. Pakistan is currently trying to mediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia; however, due to pressure from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan has got into trouble.

Trump appeals to take ships through the Strait of Hormuz
Trump has appealed that all concerned countries should take their ships through the Strait of Hormuz. “Show some courage. There is nothing to be afraid of. Iran has no navy left. All their warships have been sunk,” he said.
On the other hand, the International Maritime Organization has called a meeting in London on March 18th and 19th to discuss ship safety.
Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei may be alive : Trump

In a television programme, Trump said, “I think Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei (the Ayatollah’s son and the new supreme religious leader) is probably alive. I think he’s wounded; but he’s alive in some capacity.”
Claim that Mojahedin Khamenei is in a coma
Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has been seriously injured in the attack and is in a coma, according to several media outlets. According to a report in the British daily ‘The Sun’, Mojtaba has been admitted to the ‘Sina University’ hospital in Tehran after being injured in the attack. His condition is said to be very serious. His injuries were so deep that one of his legs had to be amputated. His liver has also been severely damaged.
Attacks on American bases will continue : Iran
Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first statement after taking office. He warned the United States to close its military bases in the Middle East or else attacks on them would continue. He also said the United States would have to pay compensation for attacks on Iran. Khamenei also said that the Strait of Hormuz would not be opened under the current circumstances.

The Iranian military has said, ‘Now we will target the banks of America and Israel. People should stay away from the banks within a kilometre.’ As a result, banks such as Standard Chartered and Goldman Sachs asked employees to work from home. Citibank closed several branches in the United Arab Emirates and HSBC Bank temporarily closed all branches in Qatar. Last week, Iran targeted the data centres of companies from the West present in the Gulf region.

New rules for LPG cylinder booking, second booking allowed after 45 days
To ensure smooth supply of LPG cylinders, the Union Government has decided to increase the booking interval. To plan the supply of cylinders in rural areas, the interval between two bookings has been increased from 20 days to 45 days.
