Shivamogga (Karnataka) – “On one hand, US President Donald Trump preaches peace, while on the other, he wages war. I strongly condemn this contradictory stance,” Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said. He made this remark while speaking to journalists at the airport in Tarikere, Chikkamagaluru district. He added that the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is highly condemnable and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
Regarding Kannadigas stranded in Dubai, Siddaramaiah said discussions have been held with Chief Secretaries to ensure their safe return and that they remain in constant contact with the Ministry of External Affairs on the matter.
