Connection of ‘Jaish-E-Mohammed’ with Red Fort bomb blast

New York (USA)– Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has claimed responsibility for several attacks, including the bombings near the Red Fort in New Delhi on November 9, 2025, a UN member state has sai- informed United Nation’s Report. 15 people were killed in the blast.

1. On October 8, 2025, Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Masood Azhar formally announced the formation of a women’s wing called ‘Jamaat-ul-Muminat’. The UN report said that the explicit purpose of this new organization was to support terrorist attacks, indicating a shift in the group’s recruitment and support policies.

2. The UN monitoring team has warned that despite the pressure to counter terrorism, groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed are adapting through new recruitment models or symbolic, effective attacks.

3. According to the United Nations report, even if some terrorist organizations have weakened or disorganised, their ability to reshape, reestablish and attack high targets poses a serious threat to regional and international security.

4. The UN monitoring group has also highlighted the current state of terrorism. Some countries consider Jaish-e-Mohammed to be active and operationally dangerous, while another member country has said that the organization has become inactive, highlighting the persistent gap between intelligence assessment and operations.
