Raised slogans of ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Allah is Great)

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – On 10 January in the afternoon, some Muslims entered the Shriram Temple precincts here and offered namaz, and raised slogan of ‘Allahu Akbar’. According to the initial Police reports, 2 men, and a young lady have been arrested. One of them is named Abu Ahmad Sheikh, who is a resident of Shopian in Kashmir. The arrested young lady’s name is Sophia, the third individual has not been identified yet. All three are dressed like Kashmiri clothing. They are being interrogated to find out their intention and motive. In this matter till now Police, District Administration and the Shriram Mandir Tirth Trust has not given any information.

According to eye-witness the movements of all three were suspicious. All three entered through the ‘D1’ entry gate of Shriram Mandir. There after Abu Sheikh sat down near Sita ki Rasoi to offer namaz. Police seeing this caught him. On which he began raising slogans of ‘Allahu Akbar’.
