The ruling politicians should also cooperate to protect the temples : Mr Pramod Muthalik

Protect the Temples

Pramod Muthalik, National president of Shri Ram Sene

The Datta Peetha is located about 30 km from Chikmagalur  District in Karnataka. Here, Shri Guru Dattatreya had performed spiritual practice. Tipu Sultan encroached upon this place and built Baba Budan dargah. Subsequently, hundreds of acres of that area had been Islamized due to the presence of tombs, burial grounds, dargahs, and the consumption of beef.

However, due to the agitations and legal battles fought by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shri Ram Sena, and other devout Hindu organisations over the past 30 years, 90% of the area is now under the control of Deity Datta devotees. Now the Muslim clergy only comes for Namaz on Fridays. That too will soon stop by Court order.

The current ruling politicians should also help to protect the temples. If Vallabhbhai Patel could issue a Government order to rebuild Shri Somnath Temple that had been destroyed by Muslims, then on similar grounds, all temples should be protected today. I urge Hindus to be prepared to confront the religious fanatics.
