Haveri (Karnataka) – A teacher at a Government Urdu school misbehaved with and sexually harassed female students. Following this, the villagers beat the teacher and paraded him from the school to the Police station with a garland of shoes around his neck. The teacher was then handed over to the Police. This incident took place in Savanur town of Haveri district.
