Muslim student’s harassment leads a schoolgirl to suicide

Akola incident !

Akola – A 13-year-old schoolgirl died by suicide by hanging herself at her residence. Her family has alleged that a 15-year- old Muslim boy from her school had been troubling her significantly and has demanded action against him. The police have registered a case of accidental death and begun an investigation.

This Muslim boy harassed her, followed her on her way to school, and sent her messages on Instagram. The girl’s family had informed the boy’s father about the matter, but it had no effect. After the father’s complaint, a case is expected to be registered. Police have stated that the exact cause behind the suicide is still unclear.
