Bhagawadgeeta says that to establish peace and truth, it is necessary to put an end to the tyrants !

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement at the ancient Sri Krishna Math in Udupi (Karnataka)

Udupi (Karnataka) – Shrikrushna had given the message of Gita on the battlefield. The Bhagawadgeeta says that for peace and truth to be established, it is necessary to put an end to tyrants. I give the message of Shrikrushna’s compassion from the Red Fort and also announce ‘Mission Sudarshan Chakra’ from the same place. The country has seen its resolve in the execution of ‘Operation Sindoor’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that we know how to establish peace and protect it too. He was speaking on the occasion of ‘Laksha Kantha Gita Path’ under ‘Vishwa Gita paryaya’ Initiative organized by Jagadguru Sri Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Krishna Math here. Sri Krishna Math was founded about 800 years ago by Sri Madhvacharya, the founder of the Dvaita Vedanta tradition.

Prime Minister Modi said,

Chanting and recitation of the Gita have been going on for centuries; but when verses are recited in the same tone by the throat of countless people, the mind and intellect get new consciousness and power. This kind of energy is a form of spiritual power, as well as a strength of social unity. He mentioned the ‘Lakshya Kanth Gita Path’  as an occasion to experience this energy vibration.

Shrikrushna’s teachings are the inspiration behind the policies for the betterment of all and are borne out of the cooperation of all. Support to the poor, health and housing schemes for citizens, policies highlighting women’s safety are all based on the message of Gita.
