Russia ready to give written assurance that it will never invade Europe : Vladimir Putin

Moscow (Russia) – Russia will never invade Europe. If Europe wants, Russia is ready to give a written guarantee, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while speaking to the media. Earlier, Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul had alleged that Russia could invade any NATO country within the next four years. (NATO – North Atlantic Treaty Organisation – is a military alliance consisting of 29 countries.)

Putin said European leaders are merely flattering arms manufacturers. They want to create a false illusion among their people.

Ukrainian forces must retreat

Putin stated that Ukrainian troops must withdraw from the regions under Russian control. Russia is ready for negotiations, but if needed, it is also open to continuing the war. “If Ukrainian soldiers do not retreat, we will achieve this goal through military action,” he said.

Currently, Russia controls more than 19% of Ukraine’s territory, most of which includes the Donbas and Luhansk regions.

Putin to visit India on 4th December

At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India on a two-day official trip. He will arrive on December 4 and return the next day, December 5. This visit is being held in conjunction with the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit. During this visit, Putin will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
