| The spiritual authority attained by Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil has come through immense hardships. Among these were the distresses She suffered due to attacks of negative energies while performing the satseva of obtaining subtle knowledge, and Her persistent sadhana even during such times. Day and night, She continued the satseva ceaselessly owing to Her Divine qualities of strong will-power and unwavering faith in the Guru. Here, I am presenting some of the the hardships She undertakes for samashti, that is, for seekers, Dharma-related activities and for establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ |

Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil has the ability to create rapport with people
Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil has a very distinct ability to develop close rapport with others. In some places, there were people who opposed Sanatan due to some misunderstanding; however, after Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil visited them, their opposition diminished. They would listen with warmth to matters related to Sanatan and would even be willing to offer assistance for its activities.
I have not heard of any instance where Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil has backed out from serving in the Guru’s mission. She would be ready to do whatever was required. In many places, whether in temples or pilgrimage centres, because of the local system or because of certain people who were opposed to Dharma, permission for filming would not be granted, or the necessary and important information would not be shared. Yet, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil would find ways to establish rapport with people, obtain spiritual information, and complete the task. She would explain to them the purpose of spiritual research and enlighten them by saying, “If you grant permission, many future generations will be uplifted and they will receive this knowledge”. Through such guidance, She would inspire them to perform Dharma-related work.
Because of Her Priti, the people She connected with have truly become well-wishers of Sanatan. Almost all of them remain in contact with Her even today. They eagerly wait for Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil to revisit their areas. Following Her guidance, they contribute in their own ways for establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Some Saints continuously perform Yajnas and rituals to remove obstacles in establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
Even today, the extremely gruelling Divine tours for seekers and for the Dharma-related mission continue

The hardships of Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil have not stopped here. Even today, She travels from village to village on Divine tours so that seekers and the Dharma-related mission obtain the blessings of Saints and Deities. The journeys She undertakes are not as simple as they may appear. She receives instructions from the Maharshis at any time, and in obedience, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil begins Her travels that very moment, without regard for day or night. Some journeys involve extremely difficult routes, through thorny paths and mountainous terrain, where even young people find climbing and descending difficult. Yet, at this age, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil undertakes such relentless travel. While doing so, She experiences significant physical distress. Even today, due to numerous attacks of negative energies, Her organs are undergoing strain; yet, She continues to toil tirelessly for samashti.
Till now, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil has borne numerous types of distress such as burning in the eyes, blurred vision, mouth ulcers, dental problems, ear problems, reduced hearing, swelling on the body. Seeing all this naturally brings to mind the proverb – ‘One who possesses greatness faces severe ordeals’.
Truly carrying forward the legacy of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale

When Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale travelled for the spread of Dharma, He would identify many seekers in society and guide them, inspire them in sadhana. In addition, He would precisely identify who the Saints in society were and would honour them. Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil has carried forward this aspect exactly.
She too has assessed the spiritual state of many seekers and revealed them to society. She has recognised many Saints and obtained their blessings for Sanatan Sanstha. Each Saint has a distinct temperament depending on the Path of His or Her sadhana. Even so, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil very humbly establishes rapport with them and enables seekers to benefit from their Chaitanya.
It is only through Her connection that many Saints have performed numerous rituals in accordance with their respective Paths of sadhana for the benefit of Sanatan Sanstha and for establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’; thus, providing spiritual strength to Sanatan.
Gratitude
Saints always remain smiling and bestow Chaitanya upon us; however, they never allow us to know the hardships they endure for it. So is the case with Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil. No matter how much gratitude we express unto Her, it will not suffice.

The hardships and distress experienced while performing satseva through the medium of Music
1. Perseverance of Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil until the Deities tarak-marak (Saviour-destroyer) Name-chants were recorded exactly as expected by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : Because Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil was trained in music, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale first instructed Her to perform satseva through the medium of music. Various Name-chants of Deities that were beneficial for samashti were recorded in Her voice. While perfecting the chant of each Deity, She had to repeat each many times. The chant would not be finalised until the expected tarak or marak vibrations were emitted by it. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale would guide Her about numerous fine aspects such as the pace, rhythm and the pause between two words in the chant. For this, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil had to repeat the chant over and over again; however, She never gave up.
2. While researching musical ragas, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil had to endure numerous effects of subtle-level battles : Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale also asked Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil to study the effects of various Ragas (Melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music) on samashti. While conducting this research, the Ragas would also affect Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil, and She would have to endure significant distress. For example, once research was being conducted on a Raga named ‘Deep’. While singing this Raga, a lot of heat was generated in Her body, causing Her distress. Ultimately, She could not tolerate the rising heat, and the experiment had to be stopped.
During that period, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil conducted many such experiments. These experiments were, in a way, subtle-level battles with the negative energies present in the environment. Because of the subtle effects of these Ragas, the spiritual distress of many seekers reduced. Perhaps whatever satseva we can perform today is only due to the grace of Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Gadgil. This is what I believe.
