Candidates will be fielded for all 243 seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections

Announcement by Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati

(Patliputra, Bihar) – Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotish Peeth has announced that candidates will be fielded for all 243 seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. Along with this, he will soon launch the “Gau Raksha Sankalp Yatra” (Cow Protection Resolution March) in Bihar. He also stated that he will support independent candidates committed to working against cow slaughter.

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati further said:

1. Even after seven decades and many assurances, no political party has promised to take action against cow slaughter. In the Bihar elections, we will vote for cow protection and Sanatan Dharma.

2. In the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, we will support independent candidates and also field candidates for all 243 seats. However, we will not reveal their names at this stage. We will ensure that in every constituency at least one candidate is fielded who is dedicated to cow protection.

3. We will now appeal to voters to support candidates who consider cow slaughter a sin and who work for its prevention in alignment with the deep sentiments of Hindus in this country.
