Hyderabad (Telangana) – Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen), has criticized the BJP Government over changes made in the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) curriculum. He said, “In the revised curriculum, the Muslim community has been held responsible for the partition of India. But the truth is that the idea of partition was first proposed by Savarkar. The responsibility lies with Mountbatten and the then Congress Government. Muslims cannot be blamed for the partition.”

Allegation of Removing Information About Nathuram Godse

MP Owaisi further said that information about Nathuram Godse, who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi, has also been removed from the curriculum. “Why have you removed the part about why Godse killed Gandhi ?” he questioned.
