Divinity perceived in Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal when She stayed at Devad Ashram

Experiencing Her maternal love towards seekers

The love of Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal towards seekers, like that of Gurumauli (Guru as the mother), could be experienced through Her actions such as speaking lovingly with seekers, enquiring about their well-being, drawing them close, understanding the details of various satsevas in the Ashram and the difficulties encountered while performing them.

A. When She drew me close, I experienced a thoughtless state for a few moments. I felt I am resting in the lap of the Divine Mother.

B. During Her stay at the Ashram, the following lines of a song in praise of the Deity continuously came to my mind. (The translation of these Marathi lines is given ahead.)

O’ Goddess Renuka Mauli,

You are like a Kalpavruksha – the wish fulfilling tree,

The moment I call, on Your feet You hurry,

At times, even run in the blazing sun, with no trace of weariness, whatsoever !

1. Experiencing great Anand and awakening of bhav upon reading the welcome board

On the evening of 30.1.2023, I came to the Ashram from outside and went for Mahaprasad (Dinner). On reading the board made to welcome Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal at Devad Ashram, I experienced great Anand (Bliss) and my bhav (Spiritual emotion) awakened. The covering of distressing energies around me vanished quickly, and I felt light.

While carrying the Mahaprasad box back to the place of satseva, I felt, I am floating in the air.

2. Feeling that the Goddess of Kolhapur has come in the form of Shrisatshakti

When She came to Devad Ashram, the 4-day Kiranotsav (Festival of rays) of Goddess Shri Mahalakshmi at Kolhapur was going on.

At this time, I repeatedly felt that devotees go to Kolhapur for this festival of the Goddess, but the Goddess has come to meet us Herself. This awakened my bhav.

3. Feeling that Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale has Himself come to meet us

For the past one month, I had been yearning intensely to meet Gurumauli, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale personally. Suddenly, upon reading the board about Her arrival, I felt that Gurumauli Himself had come to meet us in Her form. I felt that Gurumauli fulfils the wishes of every seeker. This awakened my bhav.

4. Changes observed in nature during Her arrival

4A. Not feeling cold due to the warmth of Her maternal love : A few days before Her arrival, it was cold at Devad, with chilly winds blowing throughout the day, making it necessary to wear warm clothes even during daytime. On 30.1.2023 at 7 a.m., while I was performing Puja of Param Pujya Bhaktaraj Maharaj’s photo, a seeker told me, “We will be facing a cold wave for 4 days starting tomorrow”. However, on that very day, after Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal arrived in the Ashram in the afternoon, the intensity of the cold reduced greatly. On Thursday morning, after 4 days, when She left Devad Ashram, the chill returned. I felt that it was due to the warmth of Her maternal love to all seekers that we did not feel the cold.

4B. After Her arrival, I felt that the light and Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) in the Ashram has increased.

5. Feeling that She has imparted Her Divine Energy

I felt that Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal has imparted Her Shakti (Divine Energy) to all seekers, and they were performing satseva tirelessly with unique enthusiasm and Anand.
