2 Islamic State terrorists arrested from 2 different locations

• Raids at 12 locations across the country

• Terror attack plot foiled

New Delhi – A special team of Delhi Police, with the help of central security agencies and the Jharkhand Anti-Terrorism Squad, has arrested two terrorists of the ‘Islamic State’ from two different places. These teams have raided 12 places across the country and 8 suspects have been arrested. Both the arrested terrorists were planning a major attack.

1. Terrorist Azhar Danish was arrested from Ranchi in Jharkhand. Danish had been staying in a rest house here for some time. He is from Petarwar in Bokaro District of Jharkhand. A large quantity of electronic materials were seized from Danish.

2. Another terrorist named Aftab was arrested from Delhi. He is a resident of Mumbai.
