Controversial statement by Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra !

Kolkata (Bengal) – The MP of the ruling party Trinamool Congress, Mahua Moitra said, “behead Amit Shah and put his head on the table for public to see.” Since the beginning of this year Modi government had started ‘operation pushback’ to drive out Rohingyas and Bangladeshi infiltrators settled in India. Moitra had commented in that context. She flatly refused to acknowledge that Bengal was the easiest route for the infiltrators.
🚨 “Cut off Amit Shah’s head & serve it on a platter!” – shocking remark by TMC MP Mahua Moitra.
Criticism is fine in democracy, but this hate-filled, violent language against the Union Home Minister is deplorable.
Shame that such a party rules a state!

Moitra added –
1. Is there no one to protect our borders ? Lakhs and crores of people are entering into India from foreign countries. If they are targeting our mothers and sisters and grabbing our land, then first and foremost, behead Amit Shah and put his head on the table.

2. It is the failure of the Home Minister if he does not stop infiltrators.
3. Locals fear border security forces. We do not see infiltrators in Bengal at all.
Editorial PerspectiveIndia being a democratic country anyone can criticise anyone freely, however, the language used by Moitra regarding Home Minister is malicious and condemnable. It is shameful that people with this kind of mindset are in the ruling party in a State. |
