India should destroy Pakistan once and for all

Editorial

After India’s Air Chief Marshal AP Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi officially gave detailed information on the devastation Pakistan suffered under ‘Operation Sindoor’, Pakistan’s self-proclaimed Field Marshal Asim Munir went to the USA and indirectly threatened India with a nuclear war. The series of events that commenced since the attack at Pahalgam has not yet ceased. It will not be wrong to say that this will cease only with Pakistan’s destruction. Looking at Pakistan’s mentality, its days are numbered for sure, and the time is near. The USA has begun using Pakistan against India. Pakistan should remember that this will inevitably lead to its destruction.

When Donald Trump returned as the President of the United States, it was expected that his friendly relations with India would continue. However, it seems he has forgotten that he is the President, and instead, is behaving like a businessman. He has started governing the USA with this mindset. Because of this, not only other countries, but American experts and his own supporters too, have begun to say that Trump has started wrecking the USA. When Munir says, “If we think we are going down, we’ll take half the world down with us”, Trump is doing nothing different. He will sink and will take Pakistan and other countries down too. This will have to be called ‘justice’ in the prevailing times.

When Trump first became President, some astrologers predicted that he would be the last President of the USA and that there would be no President after him. The other meaning of this prediction was that either the system itself would collapse, or the USA would be destroyed. This did not happen during Trump’s first term; but looking at the current situation, it is being felt that this could happen in Trump’s second term. After Trump once again took Pakistan on his lap for his selfish interests, ‘Field Marshal’ Munir has become overconfident, and hence, he has begun issuing threats of a nuclear war. Though Trump or his administration have not yet issued any clarification on this, there is no doubt that they will support Munir and Pakistan. The reactions of Pakistan’s citizens to Munir’s statement will also have to be seen; because after ‘Operation Sindoor’ they have understood the actual state of their military, as well as Munir’s growing march towards dictatorship.

Today, Pakistan’s condition is nothing short of a beggar’s. Pakistanis are leaving the country. Politicians and Army officers have already invested in properties abroad. Anarchy can break out in Pakistan any time, and at that time all of them will flee. Everyone in Pakistan knows this. This is why Munir is saying, ‘If we think we are going down, we’ll take half the world down with us’.

A golden opportunity to destroy the Pakistan created by Gandhi and Nehru

Terrorism anywhere in the world has some or the other links with Pakistanis. This means that Pakistan is already destroying the world through terrorism. India has suffered the consequences of this for the last 35 years, and the suffering has not ceased. Pakistan has already succeeded in splitting Kashmir (from India). It knows well that it can never be able to face India in a direct war, and hence, it has been carrying out operations through terrorism. After India has made it clear that it will no longer tolerate this, Pakistan has begun speaking the language of destroying others.

Pakistan currently has 170 nuclear bombs, while India has 180. Pakistan has not adopted a ‘no first use’ policy for its nuclear weapons, meaning it retains the option to use them first in a conflict. India’s nuclear doctrine is based on a ‘no first use’ policy, meaning it will not be the first to use nuclear weapons in a conflict; but this has changed now. Hence, Pakistan will certainly receive a tit for tat reply from India. If Pakistan tries to use nuclear bombs, India’s air defence system has the ability to destroy them mid-air. Pakistan does not have any such system. Therefore, Pakistan will destroy as well as be destroyed. Even its citizens will not disagree on this. However, it must be assumed that India too may suffer damage in the process.

One cannot say that Pakistan will use nuclear bombs only against India. Munir has said that they will destroy half the world, which means that Pakistan could give its nuclear bombs to Iran or other Islamic countries. Naturally, these countries will then use them against Israel. In turn, Israel will retaliate with nuclear bombs and destroy them. The destruction of the Middle East and Gulf countries would then become inevitable. Considering this, it is necessary that India and Israel destroy Pakistan’s nuclear facilities right away. However, it is equally clear that Trump will not let this happen, at least for now.

While India was in a position to destroy Pakistan, Trump suddenly halted ‘Operation Sindoor’. Common Indians too felt this was wrong. It is being claimed that ‘Operation Sindoor’ led to a leakage in Pakistan’s nuclear plant. And, it is for this reason that the USA intervened and forced India to stop the war. Hence, the question arises – If Trump refuses (to destroy Pakistan’s nuclear facilities), will Israel go against USA’s wishes ? Looking at the friendship between Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu and India’s Prime Minister Modi, and considering Israel’s protective role, it should not be wrong to expect that Netanyahu would indeed take such a decision.

During the Janata Party’s rule, Israel had sought India’s help to destroy Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. But since the then Government did not allow it, today we are getting threats of nuclear war from Pakistan. Munir’s statement has given India as well as Israel the opportunity to correct the mistake made 45 years ago. Citizens of India and Israel feel that their Governments should take this opportunity. Netanyahu has, in the past, done certain things even when Trump was against Israel. As of now, India too is opposing Trump on the issue of trade tarrifs. Considering this, before Munir destroys the world, destroying Pakistan will be in the world’s interests. For this, Prime Minister Modi should take the initiative. Instead of thinking about international pressure, India’s defence should be of foremost consideration. If this is done, Prime Minister Modi’s name will become immortal not only in India but in world history. This is a golden opportunity to destroy the Pakistan created by Nehru and Gandhi.

The time has come to practically demonstrate how laughable is Pakistan’s claim – If we think we are going down, we’ll take half the world down with us !
