Baseless statement by senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader

Patna (Bihar) – “Our Hindu brothers need to be made more aware of secularism, socialism, the Constitution, and our ancestral history”, said RJD’s senior leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui in a speech. After facing backlash over this statement, while explaining his stand, he again made an objectionable statement. He said, “Efforts are being made by a particular organization to incite Hindus.” After this, he is facing criticism from the BJP.
Siddiqui, while clarifying, said, “My statement was taken in the wrong way. All communities have a duty to strengthen the country. The Constitution mentions the majority and the minority. The minority is backward in many things; therefore, the Government gives them additional facilities.”(The minority community is backward because of its religious fanaticism. No matter how many facilities the Government gives, it will not have any effect on this. – Editor) “The majority are the elder brothers. They have power in their hands; therefore, they can unite society. Currently, a political organization is constantly usingHindu Vs Muslim slogan. My criticism is directed towards it, not towards any religion.”(There are some Islamic parties in the country, which are spreading religious hatred. Why doesn’t Siddiqui open his mouth about this? – Editor)
No need to teach secularism to Hindus : BJP

BJP leader Danish Iqbal criticized Siddiqui’s statement. He said that Siddiqui has no knowledge of Indian culture and tradition; that is why he is saying this. Hindus have always included everyone in their culture. There is no need to teach secularism to Hindus.
Bihar’s Minister and BJP leader Sanjay Saraogi, while criticizing Siddiqui’s clarification, said that instead of apologizing, Siddiqui is calling Hindus a nuisance. He is trying to become a Muslim leader. His thoughts have come out of his mouth. We are followers of the Constitution.
