More than 100 Hindu girls converted !

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Tanveer Ahmed and Sahil Adeeb, believed to be from Pakistan, are suspected to be the main masterminds behind a religious conversion racket operating out of Agra. Both individuals, who present themselves as “influencers” on social media, are likely using fake identities. They reportedly managed a WhatsApp group that included over 100 Hindu girls; many of whom were then converted.

Use of Kashmiri girls to promote radicalization!

Some girls from Kashmir were also involved in this network. Investigations have revealed that many girls were indoctrinated to such an extreme extent that counselling no longer has any effect on them. The converted girls were referred to as “revertis” and were given Islamic teachings via Zoom links. Social media platforms and gaming apps were used as tools to lure and target these girls.

Interstate religious conversion racket busted: 14 arrested!

Agra Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar announced the busting of this interstate conversion racket. The group was being funded via dark web transactions, cryptocurrency, and U.S. dollar remittances. One of the accused even sent financial aid to Palestine through crowdfunding platforms. Under “Operation Asmita,” police rescued several victimized girls. So far, 14 individuals have been arrested in this special drive.

Minor girls from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana were lured and coerced into conversion. Shockingly, most families were completely unaware that their daughters had fallen prey to such a network.
