DMK Govt names street in Chennai after Pastor Ezra Sargunam

He had said – Hindu Religion doesn’t exist, thrash Hindus till they bleed if they refused to convert

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) – The DMK government has officially renamed Waddells Road in Kilpauk, Chennai, as ‘Archbishop Ezra Sargunam Road’, in honour of Ezra Sargunam the dead Christian pastor who has made several provocative speeches against Hindus. The new nameplate was unveiled by DMK Minister Nehru during a formal ceremony accompanied by Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Minister Sekarbabu, Chennai Mayor Priya, and DMK MLA Inigo Irudhayaraj.

People have opposed this name being given to the road. Tamil Nadu BJP President and MLA Nainar Nagendran has posted videos of Archbishop Ezra’s anti-Hindu speeches on social media. He has stated that it was a very shameful matter that DMK has named the road after such a person who always spread venom against Hindus. The videos of the Archbishop clearly showed the hatred he felt for Hindus. He had openly appealed to resort to violence against Hindus.

Anti-Hindu Dharma statements of Ezra Sargunam

1. Hindu is not a religion

2. It is necessary to quiet a person who believes Hindu is a true Dharma even if we have to resort to violence for this purpose. (Editorial Perspective : Please note that Mohandas Gandhi’s non-violence was meant only for Hindus and he used to be ready to do anything for non-Hindus. )

3. Thrash twice a person who refuses to convert to Christianity and then thrash him till he starts bleeding; God will pardon you. (Editorial Perspective : It is a hard slap for those who consider bishops as idols of peace. Will a film be made on such bishops and will they be shown in their true form ? )

4. In Haridwar’s ‘Kumbh Mela’, I distributed material on Christianity to Hindus; therefore, I was driven away from there; but it strengthened my mission. (Editorial Perspective : Hindus try to consider all religions as equal while non-Hindus are always working hard to convert Hindus. )

5. This is a Christian country. There was no Dharma with the name Hindu 200 years ago. Hindu is a fake community created for political purpose. I don’t understand how Muslims are tolerating this . (Editorial Perspective : Please note that fake secularists will not say a word in this matter. )

Who was Ezra Sargunam ?

Ezra Sargunam was a former fundamentalist chief of ‘Evangelical Church of India’. He had undertaken a mission for setting up churches all over India. More than 2000 churches were established till 2005 and a goal was set to establish about a lakh churches by 2056. Ezra had made statements against PM Narendra Modi and derogatory statements against Hindus on many occasions.

In 2018, in one of his speeches, he openly provoked a staunch Islamic party, Social Democratic Party of India, against Hindus. It led to the killing of Ramalingam, an activist of Pattali Makkal Katchi Party (Sarvahara Janata Party) who spoke against conversion of Hindus.
